1、"Comparatively calm, Mistress Blythe, comparatively calm. She says, says she, `Well, Providence sends seasons of humiliation to a country, same as to individuals. You Grits have been cold and hungry for many a year. Make haste to get warmed and fed, for you won't be in long.' `Well, now Cornelia,' I says, `mebbe Providence thinks Canada needs a real long spell of humiliation.' Ah, Susan, have YOU heard the news? The Liberals are in."
3、
It is a time of rumours, a time of great suggestions and endless possibilities. Well, it's felt like that anyway, ever since Apple announced its Apple Arcade subscription gaming service earlier in the week. Now an advertising image has sparked another round of guess work - because at first glance it makes it look like No Man's Sky is coming to Apple Arcade.

We've included the image, which was first pointed out to us by one of our intrepid Twitter followers, Peter Hunt, just below this paragraph. And from a quick peruse of the information, it does look an awful lot like No Man's Sky might be heading to the Apple Arcade. There it is, in the background, on the Apple Arcade Store for Apple TV.

But dig a bit deeper and things look like they start to fall apart. There's a store description poking out there as well, and a quick read of it should set alarm bells ringing. It's not describing No Man's Sky. According to this Reddit post, it's actually talking about Sky: Light Awaits. It's another game with the word sky in its name, from Thatgamecompany.

That should be the end of the matter then, right? Clearly the wrong image has been used in some marketing. Or has it? Sky: Light Awaits, is actually a free to play game that's available right now on the App Store. And Apple has made it plenty clear that every game coming to Apple Arcade is going to be premium.

You might be thinking, oh well maybe it's a sequel to Sky: Light Awaits, but here's the thing, the text on the TV in the advert is lifted word for word from Sky: Light Awaits iTunes description. Here's the first couple of paragraphs from Sky: Light Awaits App Store page -
Sky: Light Awaits is a heartwarming and beautifully-animated social adventure experience designed to be played together by you and your loved ones.Set in a wonderland above the clouds, Sky invites you and your friends to fly up to explore the buried mysteries together and rebuild a fallen kingdom for its ancient inhabitants. Using your courage and compassion, players must connect as a community to share and build on their flame to spread light back into the world.
The plot, as one might say, has definitely thickened. We've reached out to No Man's Sky developer Hello Games for comment, and we'll let you know what they say. In the meantime, what do you think? Is this a snafu at Apple's end with the image, or is it a foul up with the text?

New studio The Gentlebros is comprised of people who used to work at Koei Tecmo on Dynasty Warriors. Some of them also used to work on Fatal Frame and Dead or Alive.

But, if anything, it's the work on Dynasty Warriors that's going to inform the studio's debut mobile game Slashy Hero.

It's an isometric hack-'n'-slasher in which you swipe your finger across the screen to have a character slice through enemies.

As this repetitive slashing is the main shtick of the game hopefully it's as satisfying as it is in Dynasty Warriors.

It's not shown off in the trailer but requiring different slashing techniques to defeat the different enemies could be enough, for example. Let's hope that's the case.

4、A NIGHTINGALE, sitting aloft upon an oak and singing according to his wont, was seen by a Hawk who, being in need of food, swooped down and seized him. The Nightingale, about to lose his life, earnestly begged the Hawk to let him go, saying that he was not big enough to satisfy the hunger of a Hawk who, if he wanted food, ought to pursue the larger birds. The Hawk, interrupting him, said: "I should indeed have lost my senses if I should let go food ready in my hand, for the sake of pursuing birds which are not yet even within sight."
