Updated 20th October, 09:36 AM: After a lot of waiting and wondering, Shoot the Dragons has suddenly dropped on the App Store - this is not a drill.
Grab this gorgeously designed game free-to-play on the App Store now.

I suppose I've been waiting a little while to touch on Shoot the Dragons properly but it's certainly been on the radar. Since it's undergoing its third round of testing, one can only hope that the game's release date is creeping closer and closer.

First thing to notice is its super clean art style and fluid animations reminiscent of Ray Man Origins in a way, and for some reason reminds me a little of Zombie Vikings. This side-scrolling shoot 'em up is both weird and wonderful as you (a heroic space captain of some kind) face off against an impressive number of dragons of all shapes and variety.

It has the classic flavours of an arcade shooter, throwing wave after wave of foes at us before introducing the big boss at the end of the level. The one area where it could struggle if it's not careful is in its backstory/general story if there is one. Without knowing why we're doing something, it because quite difficult to commit to it for hours at a time.

Check out Weedo's forum page here to get a better look at Shoot the Dragons, and we'll keep you updated as things progress.

Royal Mumble is back with a brand new episode of Clash Royale-related bantering.

Spoiler alert: This time around it's revealed that Glen is actually the Golem troop. Let us know if you guessed that earlier in the comments below!

We also discuss Game Center woes, counter attacking strategies, the limitations of the Baby Dragon, and the potential of the Bomber.

Also, here's an image of the missing Kardashian chocolate labradors. If you have seen them, please alert the authorities immediately. Or just send them to me and Alex as they're adorable.

Clash Royale is brought to you by Pocket Gamer and 148Apps, and you can follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and SoundCloud where every episode is available right now to listen and download.

It's coming soon to iTunes as well.

YOYO Doll: Dress up gamesA MONKEY perched upon a lofty tree saw some Fishermen casting their nets into a river, and narrowly watched their proceedings. The Fishermen after a while gave up fishing, and on going home to dinner left their nets upon the bank. The Monkey, who is the most imitative of animals, descended from the treetop and endeavored to do as they had done. Having handled the net, he threw it into the river, but became tangled in the meshes and drowned. With his last breath he said to himself, "I am rightly served; for what business had I who had never handled a net to try and catch fish?'
