The original Roterra proved to be a pretty popular title when it was released, so it's unsurprising it's getting a sequel. Roterra Extreme Great Escape has been described as a mini-sequel by the developers that'll be available for iOS in November.

The term mini-sequel pretty much seems to mean that it won't be as long as the original – containing 30 puzzles over 10 levels compared to the original's 80. It promises to take around 3 hours to complete, so it's definitely not going to take up a lot of your time but if it's a case of quality over quantitiy I'm not sure anyone will mind, particularly since it'll cost less than a dollar.

If you're unfamiliar with the original Roterra it was a perspective-based puzzle game where you would flip a cube or two or even the whole world in order to make a path to the end of the level. We reviewed the game back then and whilst it received a fairly lukewarm score, we found there was still a lot to enjoy with it.
Romanticrash Mod Romanticrash Mod v2.6 (Mod Hints) Features:Mod HintsClassic yet Innovative game play: physics-based puzzle game-The rule of the game is simple and engaging: you draw a line (or accidentally draw a dot), both the blue and the pink ball will start falling according to gravity rules, and the player needs to draw lines and shapes to help the two balls overcome all the obstacles and meet each other. -When the two balls touch the drawn line or bump into each other, their facial expressions will change to reflect their moods, which can be quite various. -Each stage of the game is programed with different barriers and blocks, while some of the cleared stages help to unlock different hairstyles of the balls. Luckily, sometimes there is more than one way to clear a stage. Let’s get creative and flexible!
I strong o'er them, and you o'er me being strong,
"How did she take it?" asked Gilbert.
Supercell's Brawl Stars has introduced a neat new community feature where talented players can design skins for their favourite characters. Supercell Make is described as "a place to create, share, and vote on community-made content for Brawl Stars".

Basically, Supercell will put out a call for skins for one specific character at a time, in this case it's for brawler Bo, and the winners will be decided by a community vote. If a skin is selected by the Brawl Stars team to be added to the game, its creator will be eligible for a $10,000 reward.

Puppy Games, the creator of Titan Attacks and other retro-style arcade blast-'em-ups, will be bringing Ultratron to PS Vita on May 12th.

Publisher Curve Digital also reveals that it'll cost £7.99 / €9.99 and will have cross-buy across PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.

Ultratron is the type of game we've come to expect from Puppy Games. In other words, it's a love letter to arcade games from the 1980s.

More specifically, Puppy Games considers Ultratron to take the twin-stick shooter spirit of Robotron 2084 and update it for today's PlayStation generation.

The similarity in the names reflects the way Ultratron resembles Robotron 2084's gameplay.

You play as a battle droid who sets out to avenge the human race by killing the robot army that slaughtered them. There are over 40 levels to beat, power-ups to collect, and pets to buy.

It's all neon-blasted, of course, and chocka with bombs and bullets. You'll be tasked with avoiding Chasers, Turrets, Spawners, and Minelayers. Plus, there are four large bot bosses to take on Ieiunitas, Bellum, Lues, and Letum.

And, if you want a truly retro experience, you can turn on the simulated CRT screen effects to bend the edges as if paying it on an old TV.
Really Bad Chess(Free Shopping)Love's arms are peace, 'gainst rule, 'gainst sense, 'gainst shame.

Random Heroes 3 has been out for nearly a year and it hasn't seen a single price drop until now.

To be fair, it usually only costs 79p / 99c so the only price drop option is for it go free, really. And that's exactly what developer Ravenous Games has done today.

Yep, for the game's first-ever price drop it is free. You can pay nothing and get a Silver Award-winning arcade shooter. Not bad.

It does have in-app purchases, sure. However, they really aren't necessary. They let you buy coins and skulls - the skulls can be spent on upgrades and continues.

We described Random Heroes 3 as a "dirty slab of classic arcade gaming," and added that it's "a must for fans of running and gunning."

Go grab it for free right now on the App Store.

It seems like prices are dropping like flies lately. Microïd's 13 year old adventure game Syberia is the latest to receive a price cut, dropping down to 79p / 99c on iPhone and iPad for one day only.

For those who have yet to play it, now might well be the time to start. There's a sequel out already, and a third game in the series is due sometime this year.

Just keep in mind that it is an old game. Back when it was first ported as an episodic game, our reviewer said that "even with a nip and tuck here and there Syberia is showing its age."

But if that price point is just too tempting for you, you can grab it from the App Store.

Retro game publisher DotEmu has announced that it's bringing the remake of classic JRPG Ys Chronicles 1 to iOS and Android.

The remake of 1987's Ys 1: Ancient Ys Vanished was originally released on PC and PSP in the 2000s. Now it has been adapted to touchscreen controls for phones and tablets.

Exactly how it will play on the touchscreen hasn't been revealed yet. Nor has a release date been given outside of it coming "soon."

What we do know is that it will follow the story of Adol Christin as he tries to free the cities of Esteria from a demonic invasion.
